As a family-owned business led by a proud USAF veteran family, we know just how important it is to find someone you trust with your animals. During our years as an active duty military family, we often needed reliable, loving care for our own pets—whether we were navigating cross-country moves, transatlantic relocations, or simply visiting loved ones. Carolina Pet Squad was born out of that experience and a shared commitment to provide the kind of trustworthy, heart-led care we once hoped to find ourselves.

Hi, I’m Amanda—the heart behind Carolina Pet Squad, and quite possibly your pet’s next favorite human. With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, my passion has always been more than a hobby—it’s a way of life.
Over the years, I’ve raised dogs from puppyhood to their golden years, fostered rescue animals, and supported pets through post-surgery recovery, chronic conditions, and major life transitions. I’ve cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, rabbits, birds, and even the occasional ferret. My philosophy? Every animal deserves patient, compassionate, and personalized care—and that’s exactly what I bring to every visit.
What began as my personal mission quickly grew into a true family affair. Together, we’ve built a close-knit, pet-loving team committed to making in-home care feel personal, professional, and refreshingly stress-free.

A proud USAF veteran and lifelong dog dad, Andrew is the steady, behind-the-scenes support of Carolina Pet Squad. With over 30 years of experience as a devoted pet parent, his quiet love for animals and strong sense of duty are part of the foundation that keeps our business grounded and growing.
Meet Ames
Ames is our energetic Junior Pet Sitter—and the inspiration behind our name! It was partly her idea to “go pro, ” and she’s been cheering us on (and loving on the pets) every step of the way. She adores all animals, but dogs and dolphins hold a special place in her heart. Ames brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a natural connection to every pet she meets.
